Premier League
Crystal Palace 1- 2 Liverpool
This match was a bit of a giggle, NGL. So, Moreno is in some hot water. He's inconsistent- as in- has defensive lapses but on the other hand, can do some beautiful goals and decent crosses. I do think he regressed under Rodgers, but I wonder if he could be a winger instead of a left back?
Origi is a good player. He's a refined Benteke, NGL. As in, he can move
James Milner (not in picture), got a red card for two foolish challenges in the 62nd min. So LFC were a goal behind and down a man. I was like, "Huh, Crystal Palace ground haven't won there since the devil was a boy in short pants."
In the old days, LFC would hang their heads and lose but omg, they fought, Firmino scored...
Benteke went down in the box and got a penalty. Scored. LFC were up 2-1 in the last minute of stoppage time. And accusations of diving raged. Liverpool has won three times on the trot. What?!
West Brom Albion 1- 0 Manchester United
Oh, Mata! He got his team in trouble
I wanted to kick you, Mata!
West Brom won a game for the first time against Manchester United. Ever. Berahino is now back to playing for the baggies (not pictured). Supposedly looking to get out at the end of the season

Real Madrid 7- 1 Celta Vigo
Best picture of the game. Cristiano Ronaldo kisses Real Madrid’s field delegate Agustín Herrerín as he gives him the match ball at the end of the match vs Celta de Vigo at the Santiago Bernabéu | March 5, 2016
Eibar 0- 4 Barcelona
Barcelona over 100 goals with three months in the season left to go.
Messi was a heavily marked man - and still got two. Mercy!
Valencia 1- 3 Atletico
Torres is back to blonde, and has regained some form. Doing his swan song before he's moved on.
I really need to get a Valencia shirt. A football jersey sans sponsors? Yes, please!
Major League Soccer
LA Galaxy 4- 1 DC United
Ashley Cole signed for LA Galaxy for a 'minimum wage'. I guess he wants to retire then?
New York FC 4- 3 Chicago Fire
Read an interesting article re: Patrick Viera and how neutrals in the MLS want Viera to do really well for the good for MLS.
In that, the other leagues (be it European or South American) you find coaches able to work in La Liga, PL, Bundi, Serie A and the Chinese Super League in terms of the familiar and established systems. The football styles are interesting within a shared format, but when they come to the MLS, because it's so closed, and so odd in terms of player matters, the MLS tend to recycle the same coaches, and similar styles, so it's a bit incestuous. If Viera is successful, it can be another notch in the MLS. As it is, they can't be a top league if they can't hope to attract top coaches
