News

Premier League
Crystal Palace 0- 3 Chelsea

The Chelsea players just get better and better as the weeks go by. If I were Mourinho, I'd feel ill, especially with the shade Mikel threw in the interview

It's just one of these games where you have pictures of a team celebrating, because the win is so comprehensive

Willian just grew into the game. He's always been a hard worker, but he's now adding outfield goals to his set piece goals. All right, now

Everton 1- 1 Tottenham

The last game in the Festive fixture for both Toffees and Lillywhites took place at Goodison park yesterday. Look at that weather. It's important, it means that both the grass and ball will be slick. Important

Ex Spurs player Lennon scored the first goal in 21 minutes of the game. An epic blast from the wing. It was unstoppable! Poch was like *_*. Lennon pretty much left Spurs under a cloud. He'd been there for 10 years, see, and normally players who are at clubs in England for such a time get a testimonial. But Lennon was supposedly a part of the cabal of players that was against Pochettino, and did something really terrible that got him cast out of the club. As in, got his squad number yanked, and blocked from training. Yikes.

Tottenham huffed and puffed, and cut and thrust for the next twenty minutes. About four shots at goal

It was nice seeing English talent on the field though. Watching John Stones yesterday, I can see why certain teams want him, but I digress

Dele Alli got a goal in stoppage time. Alderweireld did an epic diagonal shot and Alli cleaved through two Everton defenders and slotted it in the back of the net

How you like me now

I'm just putting this picture here, because Martinez's bum is my #2016bodygoal

Everton's players must have given Martinez a firm talking to. They defended tightly and were well disciplined. Even looked like they practiced some set pieces (Martinez supposedly doesn't do that in training- well, until the players complained)

La Liga
Valencia 2- 2 Real Madrid

Gary Neville has been using a lot of academy talent from Valencia's cantera

Word has it that Neville will serve the six months, but it comes across as him thinking the pressure cooker of football management isn't a long term goal for him. Heh

OP: done! Sorry for the late post, forgive! Woke up groggy, and still am groggy! Need a holiday from my holidays! Cheers, jeers, corrections, commentary pushback and overlooked news, you know the drill!
