translation: everything I know, I learned from google.
I think there's a metaphor to be had about my increasing levels of CanMNT nerdiness and shrinking icebergs floundering in the middle of nowhere. Without further ado, I present google images picspam of the CanMNT Gold Cup roster, also known as that team that is playing the USMNT tomorrow. Naming all the players so that way you don't have to say, "that guy with crazy hair" to describe Julian de Guzman.
GOALKEEPERS
1- GK- Lars Hirschfeld | NOR / Vålerenga Fotball

18- GK- Milan Borjan | SRB / FK Rad

Borjan seems to have become a recent fan favourite when he revealed why he decided to play for Canada when he could've played for Serbia.
22- GK- Haidar Al-Shaïbani | FRA / Nîmes Olympique

Am not sure if he actually exists since 80% of all the pictures I found were of DeRo :/
DEFENDERS
2- D/M- Nik Ledgerwood | GER / SV Wehen Wiesbaden

3- D/M- Mike Klukowski | TUR / Manisaspor

Well, every Canadian team needs someone to rock a mullet!
4- CB- Kevin McKenna | GER / FC Köln

5- CB- André Hainault | USA / Houston Dynamo

15- D- Dejan Jakovic | USA / DC United; out with injury, David Edgars has been called up as an emergency back up.

20- D- Jaime Peters | ENG / Ipswich Town FC

MIDFIELDERS
6- M- Julian de Guzman | CAN / Toronto FC

7- M- Terry Dunfield | CAN / Vancouver Whitecaps FC

12- M- Pedro Pacheco | POR / CD Santa Clara

13- M- Atiba Hutchinson | NED / PSV Eindhoven

19- M- Marcel de Jong | GER / FC Augsburg

Promotion maker + Ultimate home maker = ~ * magical * ~

Canada usually does quite well in the Gold Cup, hell we even won it once against all odds.
