Canaries back where they belong!

Norwich City have been promoted to the Premiership!!! :DDD

On May 2nd, with a whole match to spare, my home town team achieved back-to-back promotion and regained their rightful place in the top division after 6 long years! I may have picked Liverpool as my team nearly 13 years ago, but Norwich are always in my thoughts too. Soooo happy for them!! Such an elated feeling tonight!! :DDD

The Canaries secured a 1-0 away victory against Portsmouth, after Cardiff gifted them the opportunity of promotion after crashing and burning at home to Middlesborough! (I realise I sound like a bad journalist here ^^; Bear with me, my first ever entry on this comm, I'm slightly nervous)

Simeon Jackson scored the all important goal!



Importantly, the bestest ever celebrity footie fan, Delia Smith, was over the moon!



As was the whole team!



Paul Lambert is an incredible young manager, who I think will do really well in the top flight next year. He has certain Kennyisms about him, in my opinion (and not just that they're both from Glasgow!). So chuffed for him! Back to back promotions! what can you say? :D
