Goal.com wrote the article about Busquets today!!

Hey guys. I just wanted to give the final update on the matter, and encourage all to write now and in the future. I just returned home, to an email, saying that Goal.com published the story today. It was following Madrid's complaint, but still. I'm really proud, just that I followed through, and something good came out of it. Again, I want to encourage everyone to write, because we never know what can happen. Just the fact that they looked into it, and will continue to do so is encouraging.

I'll paste the article and email after the break. I'm so glad so many of you spoke out too!!

We have today covered the story:

Barcelona, when we called them, declined to comment. Needless to say we'll keep chasing it up.

Cheers,

Real Madrid publish video alleging racism against Marcelo from Barcelona's Sergio Busquets
According to the capital club, video footage from the recent meeting between the sides at the Bernabeu shows the Barca midfielder issuing a slur towards the Brazilian left-back

Real Madrid have produced video evidence claiming that Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets issued a racist slur towards Real Madrid full-back Marcelo.

The footage, which can be seen at the 1:50 mark of this video at RealMadrid.com, shows Busquets partially covering his mouth while speaking to Marcelo.

The video's captioning seems to claim that Busquets is saying, "Mono, mono," which translates from Spanish into English as, "Monkey, monkey."

Barcelona declined to give comment to Goal.com regarding the allegations contained in the video.

Busquets was one of six players reported by Madrid to European governing body Uefa for 'unsporting conduct' following the recent meeting of the two sides.

Uefa have reportedly dismissed Real Madrid's complaints but are conducting their own disciplinary procedures against the two teams.
