Argentina Shirts for 2011 Copa America

Now we bring you a full picture of both the home shirt and the away shirt to be used by the Albiceleste. The team currently ranks 5th in the FIFA rankings. The 2011 Copa America will be hosted by Argentina and 12 teams from 3 confederations will participate. The Argentine team has been drawn in Group A alongside Colombia, Japan and Bolivia. They will kick off group matches and the whole competition on the 1st July with a game against Bolivia to be played in the Ciudad de La Plata Stadium.

Adidas are the shirt manufacturers. Their trademark stripes appear on the shoulders of the home and away shirt in white. The home shirt has a long white collar with a golden edge on the inside and on the front part. The shirt is striped vertically in light-blue and white, and the sleeves are light-blue. There is a white horizontal stripe towards the edge of each sleeve. The away shirt has a dark blue base colour. The back part of the round-neck collar is light-blue whereas the front part is white. The sleeve hems are light-blue with a slight touch of white. There are three horizontal stripes on the body. The middle one is white, a thin one beneath it is light-blu and fades into dark-blue towards the left of the body, and a wide one above it again has a light-blue colour which fades into dark-blue towards the left side of the body.
