Eredivisie 101
I think this post should be made a couple of weeks ago, because imho the eredivisie is underrated! We have 2 clubs in the Champions League and 4 clubs in the Europa League, our midfielder Wesley Sneijder has been voted best midfielder of the year and I thought there was a final wich included The Netherlands??? (Too bad we lost...)
So... here's a post about some superhot Eredivisie teams in the Netherlands with some trivia and facts. AND I will introduce you guys to some of the hottest men that are walking on our widely spread green fields with bright coloured circus footballshoes yay!
Note: I hate stretched out posts with circus fonts and stuff like that, so that won't be included here!
At first: the reigning champions:
FC TWENTE!
1. This club was founded in 1926
2. They are the current holders of Eredivisie and Johan Cruijff Schaal trophies, the first time the club has won both titles (!)
3. Their stadium is called: The Grolsch Veste (try to speak that out loud if your not dutch, lol)
4. They play this Champions League season against Inter Milan (wth!), Tottenham Hotspur (hello VDV) and Werder Bremen.
Some random Twente hotties: (not much, sorry guys)

Bengtsson & Kuiper
Then over to good old:
FEYENOORD
1. This club was the first and the last Dutch club who has won European titles.
2. One of their nicknames is: Sleeping Giants wich (imo) is very cool.
3. They're not playing European, since a random Belgian club beated them.
4. The supporters of Feyenoord are said to be one of the most loyal supporter groups in the world supporting the team during both good or bad times.
5. On the 8th of May in 2002 Feyenoord played and won the UEFA cup final on their own homeground (The Kuip). This was the first time since the introduction of single match finals in the UEFA Cup in 1998, that the final had been played at a finalists home ground.
6. Feyenoord has one of the youngest teams in the Eredivisie with an average age of 20 years if you don't count 3rd keeper Van Dijk (41) in.
Some random Feyenoord hotties; yes they're very young (look at fact 6)

Michael Lumb

Bart Schenkeveld

Jerson Cabral

Georginio Wijnaldum

Darley Ramon Torres
Then on to one of the best clubs in the Netherlands:
AJAX AMSTERDAM!
1. This club was founded in 1900
2. They call themselves The sons of the gods (wich is quite funny actually!)
3. They're part of one of the biggest rivalries worldwide between footballclubs: Ajax vs. Feyenoord. Little is known about this in foreign countries, but believe me: it's well bad! It includes blood, deads and attacking players of Feyenoord.
4. Ajax has won the most trophies of all clubs in Holland
5. They play this Champions League season in the poule of dead; against Real Madrid, Auxerre and AC Milan
6. The club is also particularly famous for its renowned youth program that has produced many Dutch talents over the years, like: Johan Cruyff, Marco van Basten, Dennis Bergkamp, Rafael van der Vaart, Wesley Sneijder, Edwin van der Sar and many many more...
Some hot Ajax duuuudes:
Gregory van der Wiel
Christian Eriksen
Rasmus Lindgren
Maarten Stekelenburg
Then over to one of the stabalizedand boring clubs in Holland:
PSV EINDHOVEN
1. This club is founded bij the Phillips-family... Well known for their company: Phillips!
2. So their nickname is: The Lamps (no joke you guys!) and their other nickname is: the farmers
3. Romario has played for PSV and is widely known in Eindhoven for his oneliners like: Sorry, my only Dutch is: wanna fuck me? (HI CRIS RONALDO!!!) and so he has f*-ed a lot of ladies around the city (lol)
4. The Phillips stadium also features a Michelin-starred restaurant (Avant Garde) perched high above the pitch and available for meals wrapped around matches. In this the Philips stadium is unique. No other stadium in the Netherlands holds a Michelin starred restaurant.
5. Two of their trophies had been kidnapped twice by a comedian named Theo Maassen. Nobody at PSV discovered the loss until he returned them on live television (!!!!)
Cut the bullshit, over to the boiiizzzz of PSV:

Marcus Berg

Ola Toivonen

Nordin Amrabat

Stijn Wuytens

Ibrahim Afellay
Then I think it's time for my favourite club:
EXCELSIOR ROTTERDAM!
1. Say what? Yes: Excelsior Rotterdam!
2. The current number 8 of the league!
3. Excelsior is known to be a dangerous opponent in games: they held AZ of the title in 2008 (so they could stay in the Eredivisie) and they have won their last 2 matches against Feyenoord this season and in 2008.
4. Robin van Persie has his roots at this club just like S. Kalou (Chelsea) and R. Drenthe (Real Madrid)
5. Their stadium is called: Stadium Woudestein (lol)
6. The calm environment at Excelsior is a good atmosphere for young players to mature and gain experience. 6 Former players of Excelsior played on the fields of South Africa this worldcup: namely Michel Bastos, Brett Holman, Salomon Kalou, Kim Nam-il, Patrick Mtiliga and our pride: Robin van Persie
Check out these hot Excelsior players:

Wouter Gudde

Kaj Ramsteijn

Andrea Fileccia

Roland Bergkamp (not related though...)

Delano Cohen
