OMG PLEASE DON'T DO THIS TO ME SQUILLACI! PLEASE!!! I AM CRYING!!! DON'T DO THIS TO ME!!!
Arsenal chase Sevilla's veteran French defender Sébastien Squillaci
€8 million move to be completed by Friday...

Arsenal's manager Arsène Wenger is short of cover in defence and is now keen on the Frenchman Sébastien Squillaci.
Arsène Wenger has turned his attentions to the France international Sébastien Squillaci as he attempts to bolster his central-defensive options before the closure of the transfer window.
Squillaci was withdrawn from the Sevilla squad that faced Braga in the first leg of the Champions League play-off tie last night, as the Spanish club did not want to jeopardise the prospect of a deal by rendering him cup-tied in Europe.
Wenger is believed to have discussed a move for the 30-year-old, who was part of France's World Cup squad, although he did not feature in their ill-starred campaign in South Africa.
Arsenal have lost William Gallas – a free-agent and now a target for Spurs – Sol Campbell, Mikaël Silvestre and Philippe Senderos from central defence. They have brought in only Laurent Koscielny, who was sent off on his debut at Liverpool. Wenger's other established options are Thomas Vermaelen and Johan Djourou.

From Goal:
Arsenal are reportedly on the brink of capturing central defender Sebastien Squillaci from Sevilla for a fee of €8 million.
The 30-year-old French stopper was absent from the Andalusian's lineup for their UEFA Champions League qualifying tie away to Braga on Wednesday night and Canal + France has suggested that an imminent deal with the Gunners lead to his omission from the contest in Portugal, a game Sevilla lost 1-0.
France international defender Squillaci joined los Nervionenses in 2008 after spending the majority of his career in Ligue 1. His contract at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan is set to expire next summer and the Spanish outfit appear content to cash in now, rather than see him negotiate a free transfer in January.
Sevilla will apparently receive an initial payment of €8 million with an undisclosed amount in variables to follow. Terms on a contract are unknown at this stage but the deal is expected to be completed before the weekend, with Squillaci possibly available to face Blackpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

If you know me, you know why I am dying right now! I can't take this. I love him so much and I know he'd benefit by going to Arsenal and all, but I can't stand Arsenal! I hate that he was in Braga and then he left before the match! I hate it! WHY?!?!?! BRB watching videos of him on YouTube to feel better...
ETA: Âgé de 30 ans, l'ancien joueur de Monaco et Lyon devrait parapher dans les prochaines heures un contrat de trois ans avec le club entraîné par Arsène Wenger.
