Recap of Die Mannschaft - THE FINAL [Match]

July 13, 2014. The final of the FIFA World Cup 2014 held at Rio de Janeiro. It was a real battle. Germany vs. the Hobbit Prince Messi (+10 other guys). Who will create history? [Spoiler (click to open)]Not Argentina.

So this is just the match part and it's really long. Sorry about that. The celebration part deserves its own little recap with its tears, making out (ALL THAT MAKING OUT!), babies, joy and peasantry heroism.

EDIT: So, Kirchner was not at the final but I don't feel like removing the picture :P

Bojan Signs For Stoke. But can he do it on a wet, rainy...I'll shut up now.

Fanfic favourite Bojan Krkic has signed for Stoke

I repeat: Bojan has signed for Stoke.

I can tell you don't believe me. Here's an official embedded tweet.

I know what you're thinking.

I've thought about it for about 5 minutes and can't come up with a reason. For either party. Does he have a long-throw they covet? A heading or aerial game I wasn't aware of?

And can he do it on a wet and rainy night at the Britannia?

As it happens, Stoke are trying for a more "grounded" approach to a game that once saw the ball in the air for 20 minutes of game-time. And last year, the Stoke fans started singing "We're passing the ball. We're passing the baaaaaall. Stoke City. We're passing the ball..." when it happened during a match. Which proves that it CAN.

But. Still.

And lol at Stoke not having a tag. And no, I'm not complaining. Let's keep it that way.

PSG Punished Again (Gross Fans Being Gross)

May 21 2014
Uefa has opened disciplinary proceedings against Paris St-Germain over allegations that their supporters threw bottles and spat at disabled Chelsea fans.

Uefa has never before charged a team with abusing disabled fans.
Its disciplinary commission will decide on any punishment on 17 July.
The French champions have been charged under article 14 of Uefa's disciplinary regulations for "racism, other discriminatory conduct and propaganda".

If the allegations are proven, PSG face a fine and partial stadium closure at their first home match of next season's Champions League.

Dunga named as Brazil coach for the second time

Brazil have named former player Dunga as their new coach for the second time.

Dunga was the captain of Brazil's 1994 World Cup-winning team and coached the national team from 2006 to 2011.

"I am immensely happy to be back," said the 50-year-old, who was the favourite to land the job.

Dunga replaces Luiz Felipe Scolari, who resigned after Brazil reached the semi-finals of the 2014 World Cup, but suffered the joint-heaviest in their history, losing 7-1 to Germany.

Dunga was in charge at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa when Brazil were knocked out in the quarter-finals.

Scolari, who guided Brazil to World Cup victory in 2002, and his entire backroom staff have all left their posts since the tournament finished.

Meanwhile, Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella, 59, will decide his future next week after his side lost 1-0 to Germany in the World Cup final. Members of the squad have said they want Sabella to remain in charge for the 2015 Copa America in Chile.
"It's down to whether I feel strong enough to give 100%," said Sabella.

Arsenal sign new goalkeeper

According to The Guardian they are buying David Ospina (Colombia) for three mill pounds.

In other news six players from South America refuse to return to Ukraine because they feel their lives are in danger because of political unrest and Boja Krkic will be joining Stoke City coming from Barca.
Also - Liverpool wants to sign Manquillo on loan.

Any other news I have missed?
Oh man, this board is so much fun right now!

Mats Hummels to Manchester United for €20m? Forget it, says Jürgen Klopp

Jürgen Klopp has ruled out Manchester United signing the central defender Mats Hummels and has said that Marco Reus will not be leaving Borussia Dortmund either. The attacking midfielder has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

“I can assure everyone that there are no signs that those two players want to leave. Marco and Mats will play for us the next season,” Klopp said on the 19:09 Uhr show on Wednesday night.

He added: “What are we talking about today? Mats to Manchester United? For how much? €20m (£15.8m)? With those kind of sums can you forget that straight away.”

United, who are in the United States on their pre-season tour, have already signed Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw but Louis van Gaal is looking to strengthen the squad further.

So once again, it's Kloppo to the rescue! I'm so relieved that he's going to stay at Dortmund! He should go nowhere near the BPL (except Arsenal).
