Canon Questions post!

(reposting this here; sorry if you saw it on fbslash!)

there is a post going on in footballmeta for people to ask questions and get answers about elements of football rules and culture that have always puzzled them, as well as information about specific players and clubs. being fans means having a crazy amount of knowledge about a ridiculously specific topic, so we want to encourage knowledge sharing in a non-judgmental, supportive atmosphere.

some things you might have always wanted to know, but were afraid to ask:

-who was juanito, and why do madridistas chant his name during every home game?
-how did the rivalry between schalke and dortmund begin?
-how exactly do tournaments break ties in group stages?
-how many languages does mesut ozil speak?
-when did pique and shakira meet?
-did stevie really call fernando leaving “a knife to the heart”? (answer: yes, he really did and it was super gay/tragic.)

commenting is strictly anonymous. feel free to post under your name, too, but only if you're comfortable. no mocking or dickishness will be tolerated!
