'Ello ladies and gents!!! Whilst there were two all-London affairs in the form of the North London and West London derbies going on in this afternoon just as yours' truly settled in to being away from the city, Chelsea kept her ~reign of the capital~ in check with a thrilling and totally comprehensive boshing of Bolton that consisted of Daniel Sturridge getting a brace against his one-time loanee team, and a Frank Lampard hat-trick. The latter was particularly sweet because it capped off a week in which he'd scored an aggregate of four goals, straight after ~wonderful football pundits~ had written his career. If there's one thing Mr Lampard does well (aside from memorizing Latin characters for GCSE exams), it's to respond to criticism by just getting his head down and training even harder. And whether or not he needed-to-train, his extra effort certainly reaped its dividends. Pix (and general euphoric gloating) under the cut!
