Bayern's Bruno arrested by German police

So, this has been making the news ever since noon here in Germany, finally a English site has picked it up aka no shitty Google translation!

Bayern Munich star Breno arrested for arson after a fire at his home
Bayern Munich defender Breno has been arrested following a fire at his home which caused over a million euros worth of damage.

The 21-year-old was arrested by the Munich Prosecutor's office to prevent him fleeing or tinkering with evidence. The Brazilian is suspected of grave arson after the fire, in the early of Wednesday, gutted the house. He managed to escape the blaze but was treated in hospital for smoke inhalation. The defender was alone in the house when the fire broke out and he, his wife and their three children have since been rehoused by the club. A brief statement by Bayern Munich read: "We are surprised by the new situation that Breno will now be investigated. As we do not  have any further information we cannot make any other comment."

Breno joined the club from Sao Paulo in 2008 and is currently out of action through injury. He spent time on loan at Nuremburg in early 2010.

Additional info by OP: An official spokesperson for Munich's publics prosecutor's office said they don't rule any possibilites out, but they've  got several facts on hand that indicate that the fire was no accident (proof can't be revealed due to the ongoing investigations). German news stations are saying that apparently Breno handed 3 cigarette lighters to a paramedic telling the paramedic to "get rid of them". Also investigations have revealed that there were several sources for the fire, not just one. Breno also visited Max-Planck Psychiatry on Friday, the reason for that has not been made public, but rumours are that Bayern Munich insisted on him going there.

I personally don't understand why Breno would do such thing, especially since the home was just a rental (aka no insurance fraud possible). But tbqh for German police to arrest someone over that they must have pretty clear evidence, otherwise they would've never arrested him (especially since he's a celebrity). :/
