Hello, do you still have your ovaries intact? No after this post

First pics of Beckhams baby girl

He said earlier this week he is learning to be more 'delicate' with new daughter Harper Seven after having three sons with wife Victoria Beckham.

But, in the first picture of the little girl posted by Victoria on Twitter, David couldn't look any more tender as he cradles his daughter.

Victoria posted the picture on her Twitter page with the caption: 'Daddy's little girl!'
In the shot, David is seen touching noses with his little girl, who is wrapped up in a blanket and wearing a little hat.

David then returned the favour by posting a photo of Victoria with Harper on his Facebook page, with the caption: 'I took this picture of my two girls sleeping...'

Victoria is seen with baby Harper resting on her chest as the pair enjoy a doze.

Yesterday David showed his joy over the arrival of the pair's first daughter when he took to the football pitch with Harper's name stitched on his football boots.

In a series of videos posted on his official Facebook page, the 36-year-old sportsman spoke of his joy as becoming a father for the fourth time.

He said: 'A lot of thought goes into our children's names and Harper was a name that we've loved for a long time for a couple of reasons.

'One reason is Harper's an old English name which we loved and one of the other reasons was Victoria's favourite book is To Kill A Mockingbird and the author was Harper Lee. It's a very strong, passionate book. That's where Harper came from.

'To have another girl in the family is really incredible. We've got three beautiful healthy boys already and we're so lucky to have that and now to have a beautiful little girl.

'Having a daughter is a whole new thing. Having pink in the house, having lilac in the house... and you have to be a lot more delicate with girls than boys and I'm not used to that so it's a whole new experience.'

Women's World Cup Final Tournament Roundup

Imagine sappy music playing rn as we say goodbye to an incredible tournament: some of the best games you'll ever see, played by fierce, flawless ladies.

Collapse )

If you missed any games or want to rewatch them, try ESPN3.com or this index of downloads from Rojadirecta.

The women's game has arrived.  The level of skill and speed, the increased support in more countries, the (mostly) fair play and good reffing, the incredible organization of the tournament, and the phenomenal fans...I mean, people who were already women's soccer fans knew all of this. But now it's been proven on the world's biggest stage in front of countless new potential fans.

But will it last? This is the question on everyone's lips now: will 2011 be what we thought 1999 would be? Women's soccer has proved it deserves to be mainstream, but will it be?

If you liked what you saw here, please consider going to see your local club team! They need your support!

I want to thank everyone on _fb again for being so amazing this whole tournament. It wouldn't have been nearly as much fun without you, and it's been a pleasure to make these posts. I hope I continue to see y'all around here, tumblr and twitter, reppin' for the ladies. ;) So tell me: now that it's all over, what are you feeling? What did you like, what didn't you like? Will you be tuning in for Canada 2015?
