Drenthe is NOT going to Liverpool, Granero is amazing, Jose Mourinho gets "furious", etc.

Another Real Madrid post?! :) Okay, so I was lucky enough to go see Real Madrid practice at my university (any other Bruins here? ha), UCLA. I met up with nha_chi !!

here's a video I took of them exiting their first training session... WARNING: put the volume down low or actually, just mute it lol (I sound atrocious!). I was properly freaking the hell out.  Collapse )

EDIT: I hate stupid ass photobucket for making me delete my pictures!!! wtf. I'll just keep the video up and I'll post pictures correctly when I go back to UCLA next week to see the entire team.

Uefa have confirmed they are aware of claims racist chants were directed at Liverpool players during the Merseysiders' 2-0 Europa League qualifying win over FK Rabotnicki in Macedonia.

Uefa await report following Liverpool racism claims

The governing body are waiting to assess reports from both the Uefa delegate and the referee before taking any action against the club.

Liverpool won the first leg of their third qualifying round tie against the Macedonian side thanks to a brace from David Ngog.

But pictures emerged after the game that showed Rabotnicki fans appearing to direct so-called 'monkey taunts' at Liverpool players.

Liverpool started the game with two black players in Ngog and impressive 19-year-old winger David Amoo.

A spokesman for UEFA said: "We are aware of the matter but we are waiting for the reports from the delegate and the referee."

Once UEFA have assessed the reports, a disciplinary case could be opened against FK Rabotnicki.

Macedonian football has had problems with racism before and their governing body was fined after England players Emile Heskey, Ashley Cole and Sol Campbell were subjected to abuse during an international in 2003.

Fulham FC finally have a new manager! (For real this time.)

Mark Hughes was confirmed as Fulham's new manager after agreeing a two-year deal.
Fulham had been seeking a replacement for Roy Hodgson since he swapped Craven Cottage for Anfield earlier this summer, and failed in a bid to prise Martin Jol from Ajax.
Former Manchester City boss Hughes emerged as the frontrunner after talks with the Dutchman ran their course, and he will begin work at the club immediately, taking charge of his first match in the friendly meeting with Werder Bremen on August 7.

Thoughts? Yes? No? Prefer Jol or Sven? Woy approves.
