Lately the summer transfer season madness has begun to set in, and it's completely understandable! People we like leaving or coming to our teams, emotions will run high. I get it. When these posts go up (because we all know there will be more ~dramatic~ ones to come), please feel free to debate the intelligence of the move-- obviously fans/observers won't agree on everything, and it's fun to talk it out.

HOWEVER, there are debates and then there are personal attacks, and the latter are definitely uncool. I know y'all are smart enough to know the line between the two and to not cross it, so please don't do it.

Carry on.

talk about following in his brother's footsteps...

John Terry's brother Paul is having an affair with team-mate’s girlfriend

For years Paul Terry has been firmly in his brother’s shadow.

As John Terry has tasted fame and fortune with Chelsea and England, elder brother Paul has carved out a more modest football career in the lower leagues.

But now he can finally claim to be the equal of his kid brother – after bedding a team-mate’s girlfriend.

Paul, 31, has been having a fling with Lindsey Cowan, the 25-year-old fiancee of Rushden and Diamonds keeper Dale Roberts.

Lindsey admitted the affair when a suspicious Dale confronted her at their home in Higham Ferrers, Northants. A source said: “Lindsey came out and told Dale what had been happening. He was horrified.

“Dale rang Paul and he denied everything but he’s admitted to other players that he’s been sleeping with her.”

Maradona runs over journalist and then calls him and asshole

Diego Maradona added insult to injury when the Argentina manager ran over a journalist and then stopped to call him an “***hole” on route to his team’s World Cup squad announcement meeting.

Driving a Mini to a news conference, the 1986 World Cup winner was surrounded by newsmen but one was hit and he fell to the ground.

According to witnesses, Maradona’s car then rolled over the lower part of his leg.

“What an ***hole you are,” Maradona shouted from the car. “How can you put your leg there where it can get run over, man?”

Paramedics ran to the scene to attend to the cameraman who was taken away for further treatment.

The 49-year-old coach then delivered the names of the 23-man squad for the World Cup finals to the media.

Maradona has had a fractious relationship with the press in the past, once firing shots from an air-rifle to clear members of the media from outside his home.

The Argentina coach's World Cup preparation was earlier disrupted in March when he needed minor facial surgery after being bitten by his dog.

I love this man too much, Argentina need to win the world cup just so we can see his reaction.

Villa: “I’m coming to the best team in the world”

David Villa spoke exclusively to Barça TV and on his arrival on Thursday and declared Barca to be “the best team in the world. This is a big step for me”.

Although he’s not officially signing till Friday after medical tests, David Villa spent his first day as a Barca player today and told the club TV station and website: “I’m very happy and proud to be here. Anybody would be happy to come to a club like this –as everybody says, this is the best team in the world”.

“Hard work and humility”

What does Villa think he’ll bring to the team? “hard work, humility and a desire to try and help the team be a little better. I’m really keen to get started here”. Villa also had words of thanks for all his previous clubs, particularly Valencia.

Easier to score with Barca

Villa will play at the Nou Camp surrounded by stars and he reckons: “it’s always hard to score goals, but when you have players like Xavi, Messi, Busquets, Keita or Pedro around you, it’s bound to be a little easier for a striker”.
