Arsenal's season ending spam - OH TO BE GOONERS!

** apologies in advance, this post WILL kill you(r pc)

Remember at the beginning of this season 09/10 campaign, everyone wrote off Arsenal FC? Pundits doubted our ability to finish in top 4. Arsenal FC were just a bunch of babies, not men. We were too weak, too lightweights. We didn't have mental strength like other teams had. That was how others defined us.

But what defines football? What defines (supporting) Arsenal FC?

Fernando Torres (Liverpool) and Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal) took a physical this morning in Madrid to know the status of their injuries and whether or not they would be included on the list of 30 players presented later today by del Bosque. They passed with flying colors! :D

Some Will Win, some Will Lose, Some were Born to Sing the Blues.

Three things from The Guardian about this season's premier league; the season in photos, the season in numbers, and a look back (and a giggle) at their ludicrous predictions.

15 August 2009 – There were victories for Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal on the opening weekend of the season, but Liverpool, who had run United close for the title in 2010-11, gave an early indication of the difficulties they would endure with a lacklustre display at White Hart Lane where Rafael Benítez's side were beaten 2-1

19 August 2009 – The champions were the subject of perhaps the most surprising result of the campaign when they visited a raucous Turf Moor to face Owen Coyle's newly-promoted Burnley. The Guardian's Daniel Taylor described United as 'shockingly bad' as they went down 1-0 to a wonder-strike by the veteran winger Robbie Blake. Michael Carrick's missed penalty compounded a woeful night for United, who still looked shellshocked after Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to Real Madrid

23 August 2009 – Having brought Carlo Ancelotti from Milan to Stamford Bridge in the summer, Chelsea were the only team to keep pace with Arsenal in the early running. A workmanlike 2-0 victory away against local rivals Fulham, included a goal apiece from Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka and was indicative of Ancelotti's highly effective brand of football. Over at Anfield, questions were already being asked of Liverpool's title credentials after going down 3-1 to Aston Villa

drogba being hot

My two favourite things in the whole world?

Chocolate & Didier Drogba speaking French.

Thankfully, a very smart and cunning man had an amazing idea to combine those two. (It was all part of his plan to conquer the world by rendering hormonal women speechless and week in the knees.)
