GIRLFIGHTTT!

it's about to be a gurrllfight!

Philipp Lahm and Arjen Robben got into a brawl on the Bayern training grounds today, and eventually had to be separated by teammates.

What apparently went down was as follows:
  • Lahm tackled Robben during the session
  • Robben then jumped up, yelling at Lahm and pushing him down.
  • This escalated into shouting, (insults about height may have been thrown but this cannot be confirmed).
  • Ivica Olic and Thomas Mueller had to separate the two.
  • ETA: Shortly before, Lahm had had a shouting match with the Bayern captain Van Bommel.
Head coach van Gaal did not see the incident so punishment is unlikely at this point in time.

Optional soundtrack can be listened to here. And as a disclaimer I have no idea if there were insults about being an elf/vertically challenged stated (but it's entirely possible)!
awooo waka waka espagna

i hope someone dedicated 'fallin' to cron

The Real Madrid boys aren't allowed to go clubbin no'mo because of strict Florentinian ruling but going to concerts is still on the OK list. Heck, they're even allowed to tweet from them if they've been keeping their rooms tidy!!!

Looks like Ryan Babel isn't the only footballer tweeting about music!

Calcio Oscar Winners

So as you all have probably read two of my favorite men received awards. Jose Mourinho has been named Italy's coach of the year for 2009 while Zlatan Ibrahimovic received the top player award in the Calcio Oscars.

According to ESPN, Ibra was quoted as saying: "I miss Italy. I learnt so much in five years and won lots. But now I am enjoying Spain and I love it at Barcelona,"

Oh my, swoons!!

If someone can translate this, it would be much appreciated!! There's much cheekiness going on, I do catch that, oh Zlatan. So happy to see the love between them :-)
