DESPERATE TIMES CALL FOR GONZALO HIGUAIN

Diego Maradona To Finally Provide Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain With Argentina Call-Up!
The striker has not been taken into account up until now, but will finally present him with a call-up to the national team.

Maradona, the coach of Argentina, travelled to Europe to speak to several players of which he will and will not take into consideration for next month's crucial World Cup qualifiers with Peru and Uruguay.

Argentina have struggled in all aspects of their game throughout the qualifiers, and Maradona believes their attack is in much need of a player who is capable of finding the back of the net on a regular basis.

'El Diez' may have been hesitant about calling up Higuain in the past, but regards the striker very highly and believes it is the perfect opportunity to give him a chance.

According to reports from Ole, the reason why Higuain hadn't been given an opportunity with the national team up until now is because he doesn't get along with both Gabriel Heinze and Fernando Gago.

Maradona has confirmed that Heinze and Gago will no longer be part of his squad, and this paves the way for Higuain.

Another player who will be part of the squad next month will be his Real Madrid team-mate, Ezequiel Garay. Maradona is keen on the defender, particularly because of his height.

Some of the other additions could possibly include Genoa team-mates Hernan Crespo and Rodrigo Palacio.

In the following days Maradona will reveal which other European-based players will make up his squad.

Nando: My Secrets, part 2!

"You can only ever be a legend in someone’s mind. So long as you never become a legend in your own, there’s no problem. People want to pigeon-hole you, Fernando: they want to label you, rank you, judge you and compare you to others. But all that really matters is that you are yourself."

Those were the words uttered to Fernando Torres just a few days after he had become Liverpool’s record signing. His new mentor? The King of the Kop; Kenny Dalglish.

The very fact that Torres, a new arrival from Spain was privileged to spend time with arguably the club’s greatest player of all time was not lost on the youngster.

And the advice, the inspiration, the invaluable experience gained from those moments with Dalglish will never be forgotten by the striker bidding to carve his place in British footballing history.

Adebayor hit with two FA charges

Striker facing three-match ban for violent conduct

Ade hit with two FA charges

Adebayor has been hit with a double charge by the Football Association in the wake of last weekend's win over former club Arsenal.

Adebayor has been charged with violent conduct for his challenge on Robin van Persie and he has been charged with improper conduct for his goal celebration at Eastlands.

The £25m summer signing from Arsenal escaped punishment from referee Mark Clattenburg after appearing to stamp on Van Persie after a tackle between the pair.

Van Persie accused his former team-mate of deliberately setting out to hurt him when he caught him in the face with his boot.

Adebayor then almost sparked a riot in the away fans end after running the length of the field to celebrate his goal in the 4-2 victory in front of the Arsenal supporters.

The Togo international apologised for his over-zealous celebration, but expressed his innocence over the clash with Van Persie.

If Adebayor is found guilty of violent conduct he will be handed a three-match ban that would result in him missing Sunday's derby against Manchester United and that suspension could be increased if he is also found guilty of improper conduct.

I love this woman. She pretty much supported JT when he was just starting out, and I think she's incredibly smart and well-spoken. Not to mention she looks sooooo much better as a brunette!
