Everybody look at me cuz I'm sailin' on a boat

An anonymous tipper has forwarded us private snapshots of a certain tanned-skin Portuguese winger. Pictures include of him shirtless on a boat, and in nautical inspired stripes getting cozy with Bolton striker Ricardo Vaz.

Hint: he is often pictured leaving England's hottest nightclubs and plays for Manchester United.

Who could this be?

Stevie wants that title. Nando to break another record?

Steven Gerrard has revealed he is not planning to leave Liverpool due to his burning desire to win the Premier League at Anfield.

The Reds skipper has not accepted any prospective transfers in the past because he would cherish a title win for Liverpool more than he would for any other club.

Fernando Torres is aiming to break a 103-year-old Liverpool scoring record with a brace against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Torres will make his 50th league game for the club at Anfield on Sunday knowing that two goals will mean he will be the first Liverpool player since Jack Parkinson in 1906 to score 35 goals in his first 50 league games.

MLS First Kick 2009 continues!

Columbus Crew @ Houston Dynamo 8 PM ET LIVE on FSC, pregame at 7:30 preview
Chicago Fire @ FC Dallas 8:30 PM ET LIVE on DK and MC preview
Toronto FC @ Kansas City Wizards 8:30 PM ET LIVE on DK and MC preview
New England Revolution @ San Jose Earthquakes 10:30 PM ET LIVE on DK and MC preview
Colorado Rapids @ Chivas USA 10:30 PM ET LIVE on FSC, pregame at 10 preview

(DK = Direct Kick, which is available on many cable and satellite packages. If it's available, it's a free preview this weekend, so you can check that out. Basically any game that isn't on network TV (ESPN, FSC, Telefutura) is on Direct Kick.
MC = Match Center, which is the online streaming video/archive for the entire season. The same games that are on DK are on MC. It costs $19.95 for the season, $4.95 for a day pass. If you're going to watch a bunch of MLS, Match Center is the way to go. It was by far the best $20 I spent last year.)

Live reactions over here @ omg_yanks if you're into that sort of thing. There will definitely be people there for the Crew game, and probably for the Chivas game as well.

This is Marco D'Alessandro.  He is 18 yo and he debuted for AS Roma today.  I asked for some help finding some pics of him and for info and these three pics were all that was found.  Turns out he may also have a FaceBook. I added him, but I don't know if he will add me back.  Anyways, if anyone else has any info on him or pictures that would be awesome.  I didn't find anything on the Roma official site.  I figured there might be a pic of him somewhere or something on him seeing as he just debuted for the first team, but alas I cannot find anything.  Any help would be very appreciated :D

For Chelsea v Liverpool in the Champions League quarter-final, read Frank Lampard v Xabi Alonso. They've got history.

Most recently, England midfielder Lampard was controversially sent off for a challenge on the Spaniard in the second half of Chelsea's 2-0 defeat at Anfield on February 1.

VILLA DEFENDER WORRIED ABOUT TORRES

Aston Villa defender Luke Young admits his teammates have no idea how to cope with the threat of an in-form Fernando Torres.
The former Charlton and Middlesbrough full-back has been hugely impressed by El Nino's form following his injury troubles and feels he is capable of giving any defence in the world the runaround when he's in top gear.

"How do you look after Torres? I am not too sure," said Young.

"I think you've got to give yourself a headstart by 10 yards at least. He is a good player. I think Liverpool have missed him at times this year.

"When he plays, like you saw at the weekend, he is a real handful. Nemanja Vidic has been one of the best players in the Premier League this year and Torres gave him a little bit of a runaround. He is a good player.

"Even when they didn't have him, they were top of the league but any team that has got Torres in it is a better team."

Pele Claims Ronaldo And Robinho Took Drugs

In statements that will surely rock Brazilian football, the country's greatest ever player has accused two modern-day samba stars of substance abuse...

Brazilian legend Pele has made comments that are sure to generate massive controversy in the footballing world, after he indicated that Ronaldo and Robinho took drugs at a private event in Sao Paulo with businessmen in the tourist sector.

Pele is currently appearing in court in relation to a case involving his son Edinho, who has confessed to being addicted to cocaine. According to the radio station Jovem Pan, Pele told the court, "It is unfair to talk about drugs in football because of just one or two cases, like Ronaldo and Robinho, who have that problem."

Pele also criticised his old foe Diego Maradona, presently the coach of Argentina, for being a "negative example".

"He was an excellent player but unfortunately everyone can see what he has done with his life," the Santos icon said.

He then cited Kaka, Michel Platini and Franz Beckenbauer as ideal role models to follow, stressing that these types of figures in world football more than make up for the less savoury side of the sport.

"Kaka is an example of a great role model, and beside him there are others like Platini, Beckenbauer and many others," Pele said. "There are a lot of good people and it is unfair to focus on an isolated case."
