FC Barcelona 2009/2010 Nike away kit leaked?

A Japanese football shop named OKA Football leaked these pictures of what could be FC Barcelona’s away kit for next year. The same shop released the current Italy team shirt well before it was released to the public. The kit is based on the third kit that the team wore during the 2006/2007 season.

Good News for Bayern Fans

Bayern's Klose fit to play against Dortmund

MUNICH (AP) - Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose passed a fitness test Friday and will be able to play for the defending champion against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Klose hurt his left knee in practice this week and had been doubtful for Sunday's match at Munich's Allianz Arena

Backup striker Lukas Podolski, still not fully fit after back problems that had sidelined him for three months, again will not be in the roster for the match.

Podolski was also left out from Germany's squad for Wednesday's friendly against Norway in Duesseldorf. The striker is returning to his home side Cologne after the season.

Bayern is seeking to bounce back from a 1-0 loss in Hamburg last week that dropped Juergen Klinsmann's team to fourth place, three points behind leader Hoffenheim.

"We've got a big job ahead of us, we have to step it up," Klinsmann said.

Captain Mark van Bommel was even blunter.

"We are obliged to win, no matter how," the Dutchman said.

Van Bommel conceded that he was "disappointed" that Bayern had not offered him a new two-year deal when his contract expires at the end of the season. Bayern has offered him a one-year extension.

"It's not like I can say it's an excellent offer," he said.

Van Bommel said he would consider his options and decide on his future later.

There was also new speculation on the future of Bayern's star Franck Ribery, following a report in the French sports daily L'Equipe that his agent was looking for a new club for the midfielder.

Meanwhile, Dortmund had injury problems before the match and will not be able to field midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski, who is still recovering from a torn leg muscle.

Captain Sebastian Kehl is uncertain after a long recovery from injury, but Tinga and Patrick Owomoyela are available.

Meanwhile, Bayern said it would allow its central defender Mats Hummels to stay in Dortmund on a full contract.

Hummels, a member of Germany's under-21 squad, was sent to Dortmund on loan until the end of the season and will now get a four-year contract there.

The two clubs did not give any details about the deal, which will be signed before Sunday's match.

"We are very pleased with his development, but we have four first-class central defenders with Lucio, Martin (Demichelis), (Daniel) van Buyten and Breno," Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.

Hummels has been starting for Dortmund.

I don't even know if anyone knew he was hurt, but I do know people were curious as to why Lulu wasn't called up for Germany so now you know.

Player sunbathes at Old Trafford

The member of United's ground staff said he discovered the player attempting to top up his tan by lying under ultraviolet lights used to encourage the turf to grow.

When asked for his highlight of the year, the groundsman said: "Finding a player sunbathing on the pitch under the grow lights!"

He declined to identify the player, although fans have joked it might be Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo, who developed an astonishingly rich tan during summer 2008

Watch out for Yulia, England. She thinks you're dull.

The wife of the Premier League’s latest foreign star has revealed she can’t stand the English – except for Victoria Beckham.

Andrey Arshavin’s glamorous wife Yulia wanted the 27-year-old Arsenal striker to move to Spain or stay in Russia because Britain is too boring.

“I do not particularly like England ,” Yulia, 26, said in an interview before the player clinched his £15 million move to London. “In my opinion, people there are too reserved and it’s dull.”

In her swipe at Britain and our culture, the mum-of-two also revealed her dislike of English food.

In May last year, after visiting Manchester, she said: “I do not like English cuisine"

“If Andrey goes to play in England, finding the right food may turn into a problem.”

However, despite what she sees as the failings of the English, she admits that Victoria Beckham stands out as an icon.

“I like her very much,” she said. “I admire her style in clothes, her manners. I like the way she is always being talked about.

“She doesn’t hide behind her husband’s back and I like that, too.

“I remember watching a TV report where Victoria was walking across an airport terminal with one kid in

her hands and another following her… she managed to look just smashing.”

But Yulia saves some of her venom for her own husband and his choice in clothes.

She added: “I have constant arguments with Andrey about what he puts on.

“I buy him different things – this to match that and that to match yet another.

“But after he leaves home in the morning, I realise that he’s made a mess of it all.

“Then I see his picture in a newspaper or a magazine and think, ‘God – people will think it was me who let him out like this’.

“He puts on things which do not match with each other at all and says, ‘What are you making a fuss about? This is red and this is red, too’.

“I look at him and feel my hair standing on end.”

I can't wait to hear more from her!

this picture was in the free newspaper we get at the tube in Stockholm on monday morning and the text beneath said: "hela Liverpool ville ha Fernando Torres (underst) i sin famn igår"
roughly translated: "everybody in Liverpool wanted Fernando Torres (at bottom) in their arms yesterday"

I thought it was funny, because first; it sounds pretty gay,
and also that they had to explain that he was the one at the bottom
