"Moody Mourinho"

Jose Mourinho Tells Inter Players: You Are All A Pile Of S**t!

The coach lost his temper on Sunday and some nasty words began to fly out of his mouth...

Inter coach Jose Mourinho has slammed his players, describing them as a pile of faeces as he begins to show his frustration with their poor showings.

La Repubblica claims they heard Mourinho blast his players inside the changing rooms following the 3-1 thrashing away to Atalanta on Sunday. The Italian paper has released a transcript of of what the former Chelsea coach told his players.

"You won a Scudetto in the court, the second because there was no competition and the third was won at the last minute. You are all a pile of s**t," Mourinho is quoted as saying by La Repubblica.

The paper also claims the 'Special One' was ranting and raving for quite some time afterwards as his temperature reached boiling point. Also, it is believed Massimo Moratti was furious with Mourinho on Monday.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia also claim Mourinho threw his notebook in the bin in anger, such was his disappointment with the result.

It was Inter's second loss of the season after the 1-0 defeat to Milan earlier.

The Nerazzurri have been through a turbulent week, but they made up for it with the Coppa Italia win over Roma on Wednesday, albeit in suspicious circumstances as there was controversy over Zlatan Ibrahimovic's winner.

arsene joins the rafa boat

Arsene Wenger: "Manchester United Extremely, Unfairly Advantaged"

One by one, managers of the top clubs in the Premier League have complained about the schedule of games.

This week, it's Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who had the following to say about top-sitting Manchester United's upcoming fixtures:

"'You can say that Manchester United have been extremely advantaged, unexplainably advantaged."

Manchester United plays Tuesday at West Brom, and does not have another fixture until Everton visits Old Trafford on the following Monday.

Arsenal, meanwhile, travels to Cardiff on Sunday for an FA cup tie, travels again to Goodison Park to face Everton on Wednesday night, and finishes the week at home vs. West Ham United.

So to summarize, Arsenal has three matches in six days, while Manchester United has two.

Just this past Tuesday, Manchester United finished the same type of schedule—playing Wigan on Dec. 14, Bolton on Dec. 17, and Derby County in a Carling Cup semifinal on Dec. 20.

If that were Wenger's only gripe, I would be blasting him for opening his mouth. But he had more to say on the matter. Collapse )

Steven Gerrard arrives at Southport magistrates' court

The 28-year-old, who is captain of Liverpool FC, was charged in December in connection with a nightclub brawl in the seaside town of Southport in Merseyside.

He appeared in Southport magistrates court alongside fellow defendants Ian Smith, 19, and John Doran, 29, both from Huyton, Merseyside.

All three were granted bail and are due to return on March 20 for committal to Crown Court.

Gerrard was driven to the court and jogged up the steps dressed in a dark blue suit while dozens of photographers were kept back from the court entrance in a penned area.

The star was arrested in the early hours of December 29 after a disturbance at the Lounge Bar nightclub in Southport.

Company director Marcus McGee, 34, from Churchtown, Southport, required hospital treatment after receiving facial injuries in the incident.

Gerrard, a father of two who is married to model Alex Curran, was at the bar with friends to celebrate Liverpool's 5-1 win over Newcastle United earlier that day.

He and five others were arrested outside the venue and spent more than 20 hours at Southport police station.
Gerrard was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray along with Doran and Smith.

The Reds captain emerged from today's half-hour hearing to thank photographers and a handful of supporters.
Merseyside Police had cordoned off the court with steel riot barriers after a "Support Stevie G" group was set up on the social networking site Facebook.

Police sources said they had expected several hundred supporters to turn up and defended their decision to close the actual court to the public on safety grounds.
