oh and another thing that made me go all sniffly and finger crossy involving this charity match that will consume my life:

Beckham Will Return To Madrid

David Beckham gets a return to his former employer Real Madrid.

English football icon David Beckham has been invited to the Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas to participate in a charity match at Santiago Bernabéu.

Money for a good cause

Several other former Real Madrid players are also invited, and it can be a nice return for the English man's former home audience.
Iker Casillas and tennis player Rafael Nadal is looking to get the most million of income for a good cause. Also last year duo held a charity match.
According to Spanish media, Beckham has not given his final answer on whether he gets the chance to participate in the fight.

Thank probably yes

But it will be good opportunities for him to thank yes to a return on the Santiago Bernabéu to contribute to the money to good purpose.

David Beckham will as of January play for the Italian Serie A giant AC Milan on loan for three months.

bolton vs. chelsea picspam

Chelsea set a new English record with an 11th straight away league win at Bolton on Saturday, thanks to goals from Nicolas Anelka and Deco.

The run, which goes back to April breaks Tottenham's record that had stood for 48 years, and was sealed in superb style with a commanding performance.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Mom:

It Was Football Or Drug Addict

Ronaldo’s mam, Dolores Aveiro, hasn’t made many friends with United fans after previously claiming she wanted her son to play for Real Madrid. Not just that she wanted him to play in Spain but that she could die a happy lady once it had happened. No pressure there then, Ronnie!

“I don’t like English teams but I know I have to like them because he is at Manchester,”she said. But for me… Real Madrid. Of all the foreign clubs, Real Madrid is the best. Before I die I would like him to play for Real Madrid. I would really like that and then I could die, it wouldn’t matter.”

Then a year later, in the midst of Ronaldo’s transfer speculation this summer, Ronaldo’s mum claimed that her son was staying put, which cheered us up.

Today, we hear from her again, making her probably the most vocal footballer’s mam out there!

“The teacher wanted me to tell him off,” she said, “but I didn’t punish him. He had to practice a lot to be a great footballer. If Cristiano hadn’t have become a professional footballer, he would have been lost. He would have certainly become a drug addict or something terrible like that.”

Thank you Jeebus

Higuaín, Robben And Cannavaro Return For Madrid

Real Madrid will recover a host of injured players for the key clash with Sevilla this weekend as Gonzalo Higuaín, Arjen Robben, Fabio Cannavaro and Christoph Metzelder return to the squad...

Bernd Schuster might be a man under pressure at the moment but he received some good news today as a host of previously injured players returned to the squad for the key clash with Sevilla this weekend.

Marca reports that Gonzalo Higuaín, Arjen Robben, Fabio Cannavaro and Christoph Metzelder have all shaken off knocks to be fit for the match and all are likely to start, bar the latter.

The German has not been trusted by Schuster this season much and it is unlikely that he will play a part against Sevilla, with Cannavaro back in the centre of defence.

Along with the four returning players it was also confirmed that Marcelo will be in the squad, despite not being 100% after having a flu. The Brazilian was suspected to miss the match but he could now play, depending how he is on matchday.

The news will be a blessing for the coach of Madrid as Los Blancos prepare for a tricky month, when they face Valencia, Barcelona, Zenit St. Petersburg, and first Sevilla.

The other news regarding the squad is that young winger, Chema Antón, is included, which is interesting after a week when the Real Madrid youth system came under some criticism.

Hopefully they don't give me a heart attack tomorrow, they need to save that for next week.

Cristiano accused of stealing wife

A MILLIONAIRE businessman last night claimed his marriage had been wrecked by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Devastated John Haynes, 50, branded the football ace a slimy toe-rag after discovering his wife Olena, 25, above, and the footballer had sent each other more than 300 text messages.

John claims Olena was using a secret mobile he found stashed in their home.

He says Manchester United and Portugal star Ronaldo, 23, struck up a relationship with the Ukraine-born brunette in August.

Dumped John, director of a window cleaning business, said: "When I found a telephone at home I saw it wasn't one of my contract phones that she normally uses. Then I saw it was bleeping and I picked it up and went through the messages.
