In today's installment,

-Arsenal to claim compensation
-Most expensive boots in history
-United worth a billion pounds?

ARSENAL TO SUE THE KNVB FOR VAN PERSIE INJURY

Arsenal are set to claim £20million for having star striker Robin van Persie play a friendly from which he obtained an injury that will last five months.

Arsene Wenger- “We are definitely going for it. I expect financial compensation for the damage this can make to our championship campaigns and the salary involved.”

“I believe that international friendlies during the season should be banned. There is something completely wrong with the system.

“We have not even a word to say on players who are paid by their clubs but who play for their countries, get injured, are not treated properly and are still injured when they come back. FIFA and UEFA have the funds to deal with this – and they should act.”

This comes at a time when spending money is necessary for Wenger. A new striker could cost just as much as the claim could give him.

Do you think this would be a fair settlement? (I do but I'm a little biased)

The studs are tipped with 84 black diamonds and set in white gold.

There are also more than 27 carat of white diamonds, nearly 11 carat of sapphires, while his famous no.6 is made from white gold.

WORTH: £135,000

RIO FERDINAND

sculptured in rose gold, the laces are gold-tipped, while the boots themselves are covered in 2,494 stones - more than 18carat of white diamonds, 15 carat of black diamonds and nearly 11 carat of rubies.

WAYNE ROONEY

2,576 gems with more than 10 carat of white diamonds and 31 carat of black diamonds, while his famous No 10 is moulded out of rose gold.

WORTH: £125,000

The boots will be auctioned off on Wednesday at the launch of Rio's charity, the Live the Dream Foundation.

Ferdinand- "This is a chance for me and my England team-mates to do something to help underprivileged children. I mentioned the idea to John and Wayne when we met up with England and they both agreed to help."

Rooney- "I was very happy to help the foundation."

Anybody want these for Christmas? (I don't really but don't tell anyone)
