ARSENAL TO SUE THE KNVB FOR VAN PERSIE INJURY
Arsenal are set to claim £20million for having star striker Robin van Persie play a friendly from which he obtained an injury that will last five months.
Arsene Wenger- “We are definitely going for it. I expect financial compensation for the damage this can make to our championship campaigns and the salary involved.”
“I believe that international friendlies during the season should be banned. There is something completely wrong with the system.
This comes at a time when spending money is necessary for Wenger. A new striker could cost just as much as the claim could give him.
Do you think this would be a fair settlement? (I do but I'm a little biased)
