Inter: 1 - Juve: 2
Eto'o 26' Felipe Melo 20', Claudio Marchisio 58'
Red cards: Felipe Melo 87'
Today was the big day really. Inter were at 35 points and Juve were at 27 points going into this game. Now the table is this:
Considering most games are being played tomorrow, the rest of the table is unchanged. However, the top will remain the same till next round, and as you can see, it is very close and already stressful.
So in my opinion, Juve were better. They took their chances and seemed to press forward more. Not to say that Inter didn't have chances, but it seemed they were fewer and farer between.
I was stressing this match due to the possible racism but from what I can tell, nothing happened, or so I am hoping. That is one thing that needs to be out of football.
There was a tiny brawl in the 87 min. which led to Melo's sending off and Balotelli receiving a yellow card. It wasn't anything major but with these two teams, it's always something I swear. Luckily no one else got carded.
Jose was also sent off after the first goal because he sarcastically applauded the ref and the ref then ordered him to the stands. Poor Beppe (Jose's right hand man) is an absolute SAINT.
