Each player of the France national team will earn 320,000 € if they win the Euro 2012. This bonus is similar to the one the German Federation would give to its players according to the French Football Federation's president.

The FFF announced that the players won't obtain any bonus if they fail to pass the group stage in Ukraine, even if they do win or draw some matches.
The FFF has apparently learned the lesson from the last World Cup : the sponsoring premium which amounted to 3 million euros and was to be shared among the players despite the disaster of the group stage had shocked the public opinion. But under pressure, les Bleus renounced to the premium and it was eventually given to amateur football.

For Euro 2012, each player will earn 100.000 € if they qualify for the quarter finales, 150.000 for the semi-finales and 220.000 if they manage to qualify for the finale. It would therefore amount to 320.000 € per player and 7.36 millions for the whole team, which would be added to the 240.000 € that each player has already received for qualifying for Euro 2012.
During last Euro tournament in Switzerland and Ukraine, the bonus had been fixed to 375.000€ in case of victory, but Les Bleus didn't pass the group stages.

This agreement has been concluded with the players' representatives -,namely Cédric Carrasso, Florent Malouda, Samir Nasri, Hugo Lloris, Philippe Mexès and Alou Diarra - during a training at Le Touquet.
According to the FFF president, those premiums are more or less the same as the one that the German federation plans to give to its own players.
As regards the Spanish team, they supposedly have accepted to reduce their bonus by 40% compared to Euro 2008 because of the economic and social crisis striking the country. They are said to earn 300.000€ whereas they received 500.000€ 4 years ago.

How the hell is Samir Nasri a players' representative? dang.
Anyway, do you know about your own team?
