Landon Donovan wants Spousal Support?

 


Landon Donovan is making his split with wife Bianca Kajlich official. The 28-year-old soccer star filed for divorce in L.A. County Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences, TMZ reports.

According to the court papers, Landon and the 33-year-old Rules of Engagement actress, separated in 2009 after three years of marriage.

Landon, who plays for the L.A. Galaxy and scored several goals in the 2010 World Cup, is seeking spousal support from Bianca.

Over the summer, the couple attended the ESPY Awards together.

what do we think of this situ? It's not often that a footballer is the one seeking money from their spouse. I would have thought he would have had more money due to endorsements etc  Provided its true, obviously.

If this is real, then it's really pathetic. I mean, he clearly doesn't need the money.

Maybe she cheated and now he's pissed!!!

But asking the other party to pay for atty fees is standard. (I work in law, so I see this a lot.)

tbh - it more than likely is his lawyer asking (if there was no pre-nup, etc...idk). like someone else said, even if we want to know still isn't our business (even if we are all sitting here with that "tell us more!" look).

But he also has endorsements, it's not like he's making small amounts of money. Hell, I highly doubt she makes much more then him, I've never heard of her until now and I wasn't even aware Rules of Engagement was still on the air. lol

Though, I personally find it ridiculous because I think it's pathetic for people to ask for spousal support, unless they have kids. But that is just me.
