since sacha replied to mine and [info]nataliatch's tweets, i feel responsible for posting this

So Victoria's Secret is hosting a model search to find their next Runway Angel. They held open casting calls in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Chicago. 10 girls were chosen to go on to the final round, where they will live together in New York, attend Victoria's Secret Angel Boot Camp, and be featured in webisodes on VS All Access so that we, the general public, can vote for who we want to see as the next Angel.

One of these ten? Sacha Kljestan's girlfriend, Jamielee Darley.


Some background info on Jamielee, she's 23, played volleyball for UC Santa Barbara, born in England, and is 6'2" tall. From her UCSB bio: "When off the court, enjoys going to the beach, listening to Coldplay and playing with her Rhodesian ridgeback mix, Indy...Favorite movie is "Pirates of the Caribbean", while she respects the works of author Iris Johansen."

lol After seeing how skinny most of those girls are, I can't believe I even though of joining the casting call. But Jamielee looks healthy and she's pretty adorable, so good for her! :)

I understand what you mean about model material, but Victoria's Secret models have rarely been "model thin." You need boobs and curves to sell that kind of lingerie.
